DFCPU-i7

The HGL DFCPU-i7 (VESAPC 6th Generation) provides a high performance Core-i7 CPU host computer which is packeaged in an HGL standard 50mm wide Dragonfly package that can also be mounted on the rear of a Monitor using an HGL VESA mount adaptor plate.

The unit includes 4x 1Gbit/s Ethernet ports, 3x USB3.2 ports, 2x HDMI Graphics Display ports, 8/16GB RAM and up to 2TB of fast M.2 data storage.

The DFCPU-i7 is 12V DC powered via HGL’s standard 2-pin Fischer connector and HGL supplies a full range (110-250V ac 50/60Hz) 60W power adaptor with each unit. DFCPU-i7 is presented in a milled Aluminium Conduction Cooled ‘Dragonfly’ chassis for silent operation within control room or quiet environments.

Whilst intended for Control and Display applications, the Core-i7 CPU within the DFCPU-i7 provides enough performance to run up to 64 channels of Dynamic Data Acquisition at 256kHz sample rate (50MB/s) with full real-time processing and monitoring, whilst simultaneously offloading data to an HGL Hercules Archiving station.

The DFCPU-i7 can be provided with software to operate as a Data Acquisition Module (HGL Hawk & Real-time Processing software) within larger channel count systems, or can be supplied as an all-in-one system with additional Aurora software modules for Analysis, Hercules (SSD disk only) for data management and the HGL HawkGUI, Hawkeye Client and Aurora Client for all operator interactions.
